MOSCOW, August 12. / ITAR-TASS /. The decision of the Hague Arbitral Tribunal may be appealed in the Yukos case, since "rendered judgment judicial authority did not have the required jurisdiction". This was stated in an exclusive interview with Itar-Tass, Deputy Foreign Minister of Russia Vasily Nebenzia.
"The arbitration court was not entitled to consider the dispute on the merits, since it is not due to this legal framework: Russia did not consent to the proceedings disputes "foreign" investors in arbitration, - he said. - In accordance with the mandatory rules of Netherlands law for lack of jurisdiction is the basis for cancellation of the decision of the Arbitration Court of the Dutch state court".
